Dr. Albada's teaching resource on 'Students’ Self-assessment of Participation' won a Committee on Associate and Baccalaureate Education (CABE) Teaching Resources Award. Allowing students to self-assess their participation in a encourages student agency and encourages instructors to move away from a culturally-narrow definition of what it might mean to participate in a course.
