She is in the process of publishing her research on: Remembering the positive and negative: Affective themes as predictors of psychological well-being across adulthood. She has volunteered numerous hours advancing the well-being of others by helping adults with special needs and working with children to help improve emotional and behavioral skills. She has been a Direct Care Counselor, at Alsana: A Residential Treatment Center for Eating Disorders in Santa Barbara and has been a Mental Health Advocate, for the UCSB Active Minds Inc., helping to rid the stigma associated with mental health among the campus community.
