New Publication about Redemption and Psychological Well-being
Finding the silver lining in life's negative events matters for psychological well-being in late life.
Dr. Albada and Freddie Corcoran (a previous honors thesis student) have a new publication that explored the link between age differences in affective themes in autobiographical memories of low and turning points in one's life and psychological well-being. Redemption, or finding the good in life's negative events, positively predicted well-being outcomes with increasing age.
