TALE-lab member, Teagan, receives URCA grant
Congratulations Teagan on the grant to support your honors thesis research!
Teagan McCune received an Undergraduate Research and Creative Activities (URCA) grant to support her research on age differences in storytelling. Teagan's research is specifically interested in how story asides, or the tangentially related bits of information that is sometimes shared when telling autobiographical stories, differ between young and older adults. She is exploring whether cognitive factors (like inability to inhibit irrelevant information) or communication goals play a role in increased story asides among older adults.
