Western Psychological Association Poster Presentation Acceptances
Congratulations Kamron, Rachel, Teagan, Daniela, and Annalise on your poster acceptances!
Five TALE lab members submitted a total of three poster presentations for the Western Psychological Association’s (WPA) 2024 Annual Conference, and all of them were accepted! Kamron’s poster expands on TALE-alum Pauline’s honors thesis exploring how story sharing influences feelings of closeness between patients and healthcare providers. Rachel’s poster explains how concepts of the self and ethnicity influence story sharing in an online setting. Teagan’s poster describes the results of her honors thesis about the potential cognitive and age-related factors that influence the expression of story asides in younger and older adults’ autobiographical stories. Daniela, Annalise, and Teagan’s poster describes the process of content coding autobiographical narratives for story asides and a potential fourth category of story asides.
