Michael Osfeld

Michael is a third year Psychological and Brain Sciences major at UCSB. He plans on obtaining a PhD in experimental cognitive psychology with an emphasis on memory and learning in adolescents, teens, and adults. His other interests in psychology include developmental epigenetics, consciousness, and mindfulness. In the TALE lab, Michael is currently working on a project on an honor's thesis exploring how instructors’ autobiographical stories relate to student learning. His previous research was conducted at the Ledgerwood Lab at UC Davis where they explored emotional biases and how they can lead to negative or positive mindsets.
